Image Optimization
One of the most important aspects of Web page design is a balance between image quality and image size. This is often a guessing game, but with LiquidFX Pro you can load the image you want to optimize and see in real time how the image would look as a GIF or a JPEG. You can also change the quality of the JPEG and the number of colours and dithering in a GIF. With just a click on the preview button, you can see the image size and how it looks. The image can also be converted to a internet safe palette.

GIF Transparency
The GIF Transparency editor is ideal for when you want to place an image over a background in your web page. You can remove a single solid colour to leave clear space, this can be done for logos, cutout images and non-rectangular buttons in just seconds.

Image Batch Converter
LiquidFX now includes a fast and easy to use batch converter. It will find all the BMP, GIF and JPG images in the selected directory and it will convert them to the format of your choice, using your specifications. The resulting images will be saved to the directory you select and a prefix extension may be added. The built in tool will save you hours of tedious work.

Thumbnail Image Previewer
Losing track of those Web page images? LiquidFX now includes a real time thumbnail preview feature that allows you to see all the web images (i.e. GIF and JPG) in each directory when you are about to insert an image into your document. There is also a Background tiler that will preview what a repeating background will look like on your web page before you insert it.

The updated manual and on-line help explain in detail how to use LiquidFX to its full potential. It also includes an in-depth HTML resource that you can use to understand the finer points of Web Authoring. WYSIWYG Frames Designer
This feature allows you to design Web pages with frames, quickly and easily. The integrated frames designer will allow you to design the exact configuration that you want, with all the required options. A real-time graphic representation of the frames will show you what the final frames will look like.

WYSIWYG Hotspot Editor
This integrated feature of the LiquidFX web page designer allows you place hotspots on your images. It is great for creating an imagemap that the user can click on and navigate through your web site. Form Designer

LiquidFX has an improved project manager that will generate a web site directory from all the files that you use on your local computer to make the Web pages. You can then upload it to your site. The project manager is very powerful, in fact it can take the main index HTML page and use it to find all the linking documents and all the files and images in those documents, then it will create a site that is relative to your final directory.

LiquidFX includes easy to use Java applets. The plug-in system has seen this expand very quickly. The built in Java applets use intuitive interfaces so that you can add Java in a snap.

It has a real-time preview mode so that you can see the effect as you change the parameters for the applet, giving you total control. The changeable sliders will ensure that you are kept busy!
  • The SpriteFX applet. This applet allows you to load graphical logos or images and move them in the coolest ways possible. It also has literally millions of combinations for you to play with, so you are sure to get the effect you want. You can also load in background images to further enhance the page. It has a real-time preview mode so that you can see the effect as you change the parameters for the applet.
